Olympus E-PL6

By Olympus

The popular compact-sized Olympus Pen Lite camera series has a new addition! The Olympus E-PL6 has the same retro body as it’s predecessor–the PL5–but stands apart with it’s 16.5 megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensor inside. Additionally, the new AF touch screen is an easy and convenient way to take quick snaps or use with the LCD swivel screen to take perfect self portraits.

The Pen Lite series has become popular for those wanting an alternative to casual point-and-shoot compact digital cameras but don’t want to lug around the heavy DSLRs. The Mirror-less technology along with the option to interchange lenses makes Olympus’ PL line a highly sought-after camera. Perfect for those wanting more options but want to travel light.

Along with some in-camera filters and art effects, the PL-6 has more creative features such as Short Release Time Lag mode, an ISO Low setting, Interval Shooting, Time Lapse Movies and a digital Level Guide to ensure your photos are straight. These features help give users more creative freedom for a variety of pictures and projects. Built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to share your photos online.

Available end of June 2013 in Japan only, with no announcement yet to sell in other global markets.
