The bright Moku series by traditional wood manufacturer company Isuke is unusually thin and light, expertly crafted by local artisans. The natural grain of the wood and silken finish compliments the simple design.

One set consists of three cups, bowls and plates, and each item features three different color borderings.

Founded in the late Edo period, Isuke has a history of producing excellent lacquer based goods such as purified lacquer and Japanese lacquerware for more than 180 years. The Moku series utilises this experience to combine it with the modern, pragmatic approach of contemporary product design.
