Eneloop Lamp

The Sanyo Eneloop Lamp (¥12,000Prices are approximate only and subject to change.

) works in three ways. It is an adjustable light source when standing on a dresser or table, but can be utilised as a flash light when tilted to a 90º angle, a very practical feature in Japan where earthquakes can cause power cuts. The lighting strength can be adjusted via a fader from very strong to soft night light.

The third feature is the healing blue light. In light therapy blue light is known to aid with inflammatory conditions, due to the relative coolness of the light.

The lamp is powered by long-life, pre-charged, energy and cost effective, recyclable rechargeable eneloop batteries (which can now be charged and discharged even up to 1800 times instead of the prior 1500 times). The eneloop rechargeable batteries are considered to be the world’s best rechargeable batteries since its launch in November 2005.
